About MCDC

The MCDC was established in 1959 to be a catalyst of community and economic development for the City of Morden. The organization is a non-profit which works to promote business growth, promote access to skilled labour for employers, and initiate related community support services. To this end, the Corporation operates an industrial business incubator, with over 20,000 square feet of commercial lease space for new businesses to start and scale their operation. The Corporation also manages transition apartments for newcomers and works with partners to deliver employer driven education and training initiatives in support of a robust and skilled local workforce. Recently, the MCDC acquired the complex of buildings known as Boundary Trails Place, which is home to the Menzies Medical Clinic. This strategic acquisition underscores MCDC’s commitment to supporting our community through safeguarding accessible and affordable healthcare facilities for Morden residents.
